MY Story

My name is Jerald, I’m a full-time photographer and director based in New York City, originally from San Francisco. I’ve been working as a full-time freelance creative for the past three years, but my journey behind the camera started much earlier in high school, when I first picked up a camera and discovered my passion for storytelling through imagery.

I began primarily shooting film photography, which shaped the way I approach my way of directing and capturing authentic moments. As my work evolved, I expanded into both film and digital photography, allowing me to adapt to different creative visions, clients, and production needs. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with 500+ clients, including artists, celebrities, music festivals, couples, weddings, brands, and individuals from all different backgrounds. Every project has given me the chance to meet new people, experience different stories, and create something meaningful.

At the heart of everything I do, I simply want to make people smile. Whether it’s documenting a major milestone, creating an image for an artist, or capturing a small moment that might otherwise be forgotten, I want my work to preserve how a moment felt, not just how it looked. For me, photography is about creating memories people can hold onto for years to come.
